Lamination Using Glaxs

Tenax Glaxs BM75 Liquid Gel Epoxy

New Resin Technology, Zero Yellowing, GREEN PRODUCT!

Glaxs is a new generation Bi-component resin with zero yellowing to the sun and UV rays. It is a transparent resin, solvent free, with low viscosity and medium reactivity. Good penetration and hardness. The resin can harden at 0°C. Glaxs will stay bright also when the level of humidity is high and the temperature is low. It is ideal for white stone with a warranty against changing color against the Sun. The resin Glaxs is completely invisible. It does not yellow or shadow around the cracks. For these reasons we recommend the application on white marble, white granite and porous stone. The reactivity of Glaxs is slightly influenced by the temperature.

Bi-Component Adhesives, such as PolyTenax, Crystal or Glaxs are the in-between products. Typically offer a bond of about 60%-70% in strength when cured. These products should be chosen for specific applications, as some can be used indoors only and some can be used indoors and outdoors.

Advantages:

  • Stronger bond than traditional polyester adhesives
  • Used in indoor and some products are for indoor/outdoor applications
  • Color well with tints
  • When cured, they offer some flexibility and are not as brittle
