Stone Shield™ TruTint Flowing Polyester Adhesive

This adhesive is great for seaming natural stone countertops, as well as Fiberglass Rodding to reinforce countertop sink hole cut outs. It offers a clearer and less visible seam when dried than other products in the stone industry. It is also easily tinted with common adhesive tinting colors.

Polyester adhesives in general offer a faster cure time verses epoxies. Another benefit to using Polyester adhesives instead of epoxies is that if for some reason you need to break away the two stone pieces from each other, you can do so. Epoxies on the other hand have a higher hold and most likely, as the saying goes: “you’ll break the stone, before you break the bond”.

For the typical granite or marble kitchen countertop, polyester adhesives are an easier and faster alternative to the epoxies and still offer great strength, tinting ability and peace of mind for years to come.
